Cheri Modeen, Chair
Cheri Modeen serves as Professional Development Coordinator for Charleston County School District (CCSD), the second-largest school system in South Carolina. CCSD represents a unique blend of urban, suburban, and rural schools spanning 1,300 square miles along the coast, serving more than 50,000 students in 87 schools and specialized programs. Prior to working for CCSD, Cheri spent eight years working for Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES in Newark, NY as the Executive Coordinator of Staff Development, a Staff Development Trainer, the Coordinator of Regional Math Initiatives and as a Math Coach.
Through the WF-L BOCES Leadership Institute, Cheri was part of Cohort #2 and graduated from the University of Rochester in 2006 with a School District Administrator (SDA) Certificate. Prior to that Cheri was a Math Teacher in New York State for 12 years.
Members represent the Consortium districts of Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester District 2 & Dorchester District 4.
